Molly-Mae Hague has taken a private jet to Paris despite previous backlash from fans.
The influencer kicked off her 26th birthday celebrations by jetting off to Disneyland in a private plane with her family.
Hague shared a series of photos on her Instagram stories, giving followers a glimpse into her airport experience before boarding the private jet. Molly first posted a picture of Bambi at the airport with the caption ‘Let’s go to Disney’, followed by a snap inside the jet which was adorned with personalised decorations.
The festive decor included a banner featuring Molly’s face donning the classic Mickey Mouse ears. Shortly after she confirmed her arrival in Paris with a photo of their luggage being loaded into a black cab.
Critics took to social media after hearing about her private jet flight and one person wrote: “Molly-Mae is hilarious, who takes a private jet to Disneyland Paris??”
Another person wrote: “Molly-Mae really took a private jet to Paris…”
Molly’s past luxurious travel experiences haven’t been without controversy. The former Love Island star has previously stated that she ‘can’t win’ following criticism for using a private jet.
She notably faced significant backlash in March 2023 when she took a ski trip to Courchevel in France for a friend’s 30th birthday celebration, as well as during a solo journey to Ibiza.
At the time critics urged her to ‘do better’ and deemed them ‘unnecessary’. Following her private jet escapade, Molly was criticised for choosing to fly with RyanAir for her sister’s hen party.
Addressing the criticism on her YouTube channel, Molly stated, “People talking about how they thought it was crazy that I booked my sister a Ryanair flight to take her on her hen do. They’re like: ‘I can’t believe Molly booked a Ryanair flight for her and her sister’s friends when a few weeks before she got her friend a jet.”
“The amount of stick and the amount of intense comments I got from doing that treat for Taylor’s birthday and getting the jet, made me think I probably won’t ever do that ever again. It takes away that specialness of that experience because the reaction is just, so not worth it.”
Molly-Mae’s trip to Disneyland comes after Molly opened up about her health, detailing a recent issue which resulted in her being admitted to A&E.
On her YouTube channel, Molly shared that she believed she had a blood clot after remaining stationary for a long period on a flight. She described her symptoms, including a swollen, painful leg, which prompted her to seek medical attention.
