Zoe Rae, who is the older sister of Molly-Mae Hague, has been left on the verge of tears as she showed fans the apparent aftermath of her latest cosmetic procedure
Zoe Rae, Molly-Mae Hague’s older sister and a content creator, was close to tears as she revealed the results of her recent cosmetic procedure.
She confessed to her followers that she’s now resorting to “hiding” behind sunglasses due to the outcome. In her latest YouTube vlog, 28-year-old Zoe showed off an eyelid that was partially shut.
This follows her February announcement where she shared that she was suffering from ptosis, a side effect of Botox injections in her face. NHS Highland explains that this condition, which can cause “temporary droopiness of the eyelid” might persist for up to three weeks but will eventually resolve on its own.
Zoe initially hid her eye with sunglasses in the vlog but later gave viewers a peek, admitting it’s “worse than last time” while recounting her ordeal.
Holding up her sunglasses, she explained: “This will all make sense to you in a very short second when I explain what’s gone on. Those of you that have been here before, I’m sure you can imagine what’s gone on,” reports the Mirror.
She went on to express regret: “I hold my hands up. I said I wasn’t gonna do it again. I was really just gonna rock the forehead lines, but I didn’t. I wanted to try Botox again and you won’t believe my luck. Honestly, I could weep. Less said about that the better.”
Zoe, visibly emotional, shared with her followers: “Honestly guys I’m so sad. I’m literally so sad. I went to the same place but she was so so careful and she said that she didn’t put it in the areas where it was gonna cause this ptosis.”
In her latest vlog update, she spoke about the side effect, saying: “It’s worse than last time so that’s great. I’ve had to cancel some things coming up this week. I had shoots. I had other bits to do but my eye is fully closed, pretty much.”
Zoe admitted: “Like, I actually could cry. It’s my own fault I know it is. And like I know I said I wasn’t going to get it again but I just [thought] like ‘surely it can’t happen again? Surely it’s a one-off?'”.
She went on to say: “I was doing loads of research and they were like you’ve got to be seriously unlucky to get it twice. I was just starting to feel like a little bit… not unconfident but… guys, if you’ve had Botox before like you know that it makes you just feel a little bit more confident. Like it makes your skin look a lot smoother, especially with my skin troubles at the minute.”
Zoe mentioned she’s been wearing sunglasses a lot and joked that she’ll be “hiding” behind them for a while. She also revealed that the situation is “really bad” right now and explained that she has to lift her affected eyelid to see better.
She confessed to viewers: “It’s all just gone a little bit t**s up for me, again. I am literally the unluckiest person in the world. I can’t. I’m trying to remember as well how like long it lasted last time.”
She then added: “I think it was like three weeks.”
