Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa is said to have signed up to take part in another iconic UK reality show – this time she’ll be showing off her cooking skills
JoJo Siwa is set to feature on British TV screen, as she has reportedly signed for another star-studded UK reality programme. The 22-year-old US singer, who raised her profile in the UK in April as a housemate on ITV’s Celebrity Big Brother, is apparently gearing up to grace Channel 4, whisk in hand, on a celebrity edition of The Great British Bake Off.
The appearance is due to come as part of Channel 4’s annual Stand up to Cancer content. An insider revealed: “This is a bit of a coup for the Bake Off because Jojo is currently one of the most talked about young stars on TV right now.
“She’s barely had time to catch her breath, leaving CBB last month amid huge media attention and heading straight into another huge show this month.
“It’s also a fantastic gig for her because although she already has a fanbase over here, the cookery contest also introduces her to a wider British audience. Plus she got plenty of experience of cooking in front of the cameras while she was on Celebrity Big brother, though this time she won’t have hunky Chris to distract her,” they spilled to The Sun, reports the Mirror.
The singer first rose to fame on a reality show back home. At just nine years old, she appeared on Dance Moms in 2015, featuring throughout seasons five and six.
Earlier this year, her fame soared on British turf with her stint on Celebrity Big Brother.
She entered the famous reality TV house while dating Aussie influencer Kath Ebbs, but viewers were shocked to see her cosying up to Love Island hunk Chris Hughes during her stay.
After the show wrapped up, Kath left fans jaws dropping when they announced they had broken up. It wasn’t long before JoJo and Chris seemed to make it official.
Pictures surfaced showing the songbird kissing the the 32-year old British celeb while away in Mexico. They’ve been gushing over each other on social media since.
Chris caused quite the stir when he posted – only to swiftly delete – a racy bedroom snap with JoJo, leaving fans convinced of their romance. The duo have been spotted enjoying meals out, hitting the lanes for bowling, spending time with family, and grabbing plenty of moments alone.
On Saturday, Chris snapped himself planting a kiss on JoJo’s noggin as they cuddled up in the sack together. The Dance Moms snuggled Chris while the reality star wrote: “Sleeping beauty.”
The image wasn’t present on Chris’ profile for too long as it was quickly deleted But it was too late to put the genie back in the bottle as eagle-eyed fans who are cheering for the pair managed to grab screenshots and spread them around.
