Abbey, 39, said she longed to get her ‘hands dirty’ and be surrounded by donkeys and goats and want to buy a farm
Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy want to become farmers. The model confessed the couple were considering swapping their suburban life in Surrey for something more rural.
Abbey, 39, said she longed to get her “hands dirty” and be surrounded by donkeys and goats. The couple, who married in 2011, have four children, Sophia, 14, Liberty, 10, Johnny, seven, and Jack, six.
She said: “We’re thinking about leaving the city and becoming farmers. We’re constantly looking at houses and we’re always toying with the idea of moving abroad or buying a farm.
“I’d love to have loads of animals in the house. I’d definitely be getting my hands dirty, and we’d have donkeys and goats.”
Abbey also admitted she still fancies her pundit hubby, who retired in 2019, in a football shirt.
She said she was left flustered after seeing the ex Liverpool, Tottenham and England striker in a Liverpool top during a recent legends game.
Abbey said: “I really fancy Pete in a football shirt. We were lucky enough to watch him play at Anfield again a few weeks ago in a legends game and he scored two goals.
“It was the first time the boys had ever seen him play. And it was just amazing.
“And it was like, “Oh my god. He looks hot in his Liverpool top.”
Abbey also admitted that doing their podcast ‘The Therapy Crouch’ together has “been like therapy” and “helps keep us connected”.
She said: “We’ve been together 20 years and you don’t often sit down with your partner and say, “Do you remember when we went on that holiday?” or “Do you remember when this happened?”- so it helps keep us connected and it’s such a gift to be able to help other people.”
