JoJo Siwa has been making the most of her time in London this week, as she brought her UK tour to the capital and also hosted her Afternoon Tea Party for fans
Singer JoJo Siwa has posted a string of videos from her time in London over the past week, as her romance with Love Island star Chris Hughes continues to blossom. The pair, who appeared to strike up a connection on Celebrity Big Brother while JoJo was still in a relationship, have been enjoying each other’s company as JoJo joined her former housemate in the UK.
The 22-year-old Dance Moms reality star has been documenting her London adventures on TikTok, with Chris, 32, making plenty of appearances in her clips. Her latest upload was captioned: “What a week and What a camera roll. Mini vlog coming next.”
Aside from her tour, JoJo has also been hosting her Afternoon Tea Party, where fans joined her on a double-decker bus as she toured around London. The bus was decked out with treats and sandwiches from “afternoon tea specialists” Brigit’s Bakery, and JoJo chatted and laughed with her fans as they took in the sights of the capital.
Her video featured snippets of her and Chris, including him giving her a peck on the head, the two of them in stitches over his comedy glasses, and the pair strolling through the park with coffees in hand. One clip showed her chatting on Capital radio, where she finally confirmed, after months of speculation, that she and Chris are a couple.
Chatting with Capital Buzz on June 2, JoJo gushed: “I’m sure it’s no secret to people, I am in a lovely relationship with a sweet boy named Christopher Hughes,” reports the Mirror.
She’s also had to clap back at rumours that her romance with Chris is just for the cameras.
Speaking to The Guardian earlier this week, JoJo exclaimed: “It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way.”
When confronted with the PR stunt speculation, she retorted: “Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now.”
She even mentioned: “Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never been in pain from smiling so much.”
Even This Morning’s Ben Shephard couldn’t resist teasing reality star Chris Hughes, who turned a shade of crimson live on air on Tuesday (June 3) when Ben congratulated him on his blossoming love with JoJo.
Chris had also posted a cosy snap of them snuggled up in bed before deleting it. With a smooch on the brow while JoJo nestled into his chest, Chris captioned the photo: “Sleeping beauty.”
On-air chat turned personal when Ben said to Chris: “Can we just say, because obviously we’re all talking about, congratulations on the relationship.
“We’re all very excited. Have we decided on whether it’s Hughes-wa? What’s the power couple name?” A beaming Chris said: “They call it CoJo. That’s the one they’re all going for. Chris-JoJo, it works. It rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? Thanks guys, I appreciate it.”
Speaking on the Rosebud podcast with Gyles Brandreth, JoJo was all praise when disclosing what attracted her to Chris, commenting: “When he first walked in, he was the only person that I knew what they looked like before coming into the show.”
She continued jokingly: “I was ‘Oh that’s the Chris guy’. Initially the first thing that I took in about him was he was a good hugger. I liked his hug. That felt like a nice embrace. And he smelt good.”
Considering their future, JoJo revealed she’s looking at the long haul with Chris and is even pondering making things permanent with ink, expressing: “I want Chris to last for a lifetime,” and then elaborated on her plans for a tattoo by saying: “The Chris tattoo, I said in Big Brother that I would get this bamboo stick… and I want to get two other tattoos from the Big Brother house of memories that I have from in there.”
