Victoria Beckham breaks silence on David’s knighthood after couple’s new titles

The new Lady Victoria Beckham – yes, you read that right – has lavished her hubby with love, now dubbed Sir David Beckham following the announcement of his forthcoming knighthood.

Football legend Sir David’s long-awaited knighthood was officially rubber-stamped today as the release of the King’s Birthday Honours list this evening made headlines. His impending title was subject to a potential blunder after it was prematurely disclosed last week, which might have scuppered the 50-year-old’s aspirations for noble status, as exclusively reported by the Mirror.

Despite the prior leak, Sir David still managed to clinch the coveted accolade he has dreamt of for years, confirmed by tonight’s unveiling of the King’s Birthday Honours List. Sir Beckham is being honoured for his contributions to sport and charitable causes, as declared.

Upon hearing the thrilling update, David’s devoted wife Victoria, aged 51, couldn’t contain her excitement and rushed to lavish Goldenballs with adulation. Victoria expressed her elation on Instagram with an effusive post dedicated to David, where she wrote: “You’ve always been my knight in shining armour, but now it’s official. Sir @davidbeckham! ! !”.

“What an honour, I couldn’t be prouder of you. Your dedication to the things that matter most – your country, your work, your passion, and most of all, your family – has never wavered,, reports the Mirror.

“The way you’ve touched so many lives over the years with kindness and humility speaks volumes about the man you are and continues to inspire us everyday. But above all else, I’m so, so proud to call you mine.I love you so much xxxx”.

The Beckham household is currently facing a bit of a storm as whispers of a rift between David and Victoria Beckham and their eldest son Brooklyn, along with his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, have hit fever pitch.

Rumours about a tiff first sparked when Brooklyn was noticeably absent from his mum Victoria’s 51st birthday bash and didn’t post his usual social media shout-out. Word on the street later had it that Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, were at odds with the Beckhams over Romeo’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnball.

A source told the Mirror: “They split a few weeks ago and it’s all amicable and they are still friends.”

Even though Romeo and Kim parted ways on good terms, Brooklyn and Nicola reportedly remain out of sync with the Beckhams, with some suggesting the drama is echoing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Royal family feud.

Meanwhile, David has been rubbing shoulders with King Charles, spotted at a regal do just a day before his knighthood news broke – yet Brooklyn and Nicola seem to be cosying up to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex instead.

Meghan and Nicola are said to have found “common ground” after being portrayed as the villains in their respective family disputes. Ingrid Seward, Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine, drew attention to the parallels in these feuds.

“It’s also rather fascinating that the Beckham’s son, Brooklyn, who was their firstborn, has sort of sided with his wife against the family. In a way, you know, we’re looking at Harry, who was not firstborn, but sided with Meghan against the family,” she told The Sun.

However, the young celebrity pair have been advised to tread carefully. Experts have warned them about the potential ‘damage’ if they distance themselves from their families in a similar fashion to the Sussexes.
