Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has taken to social media to share a candid video with her followers as she opened up about her body confidence
Helen Flanagan, once the picture of body confidence after her high-profile modelling gigs post-Coronation Street, has opened up about feeling insecure following the birth of her three kids.
The 34-year-old stunning actress, who dazzled in lad’s mags back in the day, confessed on social media that she’s been losing confidence in her appearance. On Instagram, the ex-Corrie star and former partner to footballer Scott Sinclair posted a frank video for her fans, pointing out “cellulite.”
In a Get Ready With Me clip, Helen slips out of her pink pyjamas to flaunt her fit figure in blue lace lingerie. She shared with her followers: “My weight goes up and down. It depends on my love life and how stressed I am.”
While showcasing her fabulous figure in her new undergarments, she expressed her delight at being involved in the editing process for the brand she was endorsing, reports the Mirror.
She added: “Even though sometimes you don’t feel so confident or toned, just got for it. Even though I’ve got cellulite and my body isn’t as toned as it used to be, I just thought, ‘you know what Helen go for it, you only live once.'” Helen then slipped into a chic denim dress, looking every bit the red carpet queen, as she revealed her final ensemble to her fans.
But this comes just days after she was snapped enjoying a wild night out with Wayne Lineker at his notorious bar in Ibiza. In another frank Instagram update, Helen confessed to feeling incredibly hungover, comparing herself to a “lizard.”
She bared her soul saying: “I am really hungover, I am like a lizard. I am not drinking for a long time. I know I will feel better tomorrow. I have the school run tomorrow. Oh my god. I literally got in at six in the morning.”
Despite her fame from the ITV soap, it seems Helen’s been tightening the purse strings recently. She’s had to slash the asking price of her posh £1.5million six-bed mansion down to a mere £1.195million – with a whopping 5,000 square feet of space.
