Romeo Beckham has seemingly addressed his ex Kim Turnbull in a new twist to the ongoing Beckham family drama. The 22-year-old former footballer appeared to clap back at his legion of followers after Kim finally broke her silence on the Beckham family fallout.

Kim, a DJ and model, was unwittingly caught up in the tension between Brooklyn Beckham and his A-list parents David and Victoria, following rumours she had previously dated Brooklyn and was the reason he and his wife Nicola Peltz were no-shows at David’s 50th birthday bash.

The saga took its toll on Kim as she recently ended things with Brooklyn’s younger brother Romeo amidst the escalating family chaos. This week, she spoke out for the first time, expressing her frustration over being “embarrassed by the lies”.

Kim said: “I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on. I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative,” reports the Mirror.

She further clarified: “I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.

“I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation and set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”

Yet, just hours after her statement, her recent ex Romeo seemed to respond with a cryptic yet pointed remark.

He posted a snapshot from an old black and white film with the caption: “What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency.”

Romeo chimed in with his own two pence, adding: “Be nice to people and don’t tell unnecessary lies,” complete with a kissing emoji.

Kim found herself smack dab in the middle of the Beckham family drama after claims surfaced that Brooklyn had doubts about her intentions with his brother, Romeo. Even Cruz, the youngest of the Beckham lads, stepped into the fray to refute claims that Kim had been involved with his elder sibling.

The DJ and model called it quits with Romeo earlier this month, their romance having been fingered as the culprit for the supposed tension tearing through the Beckhams lately. After seven months, whispers were that their love story just “fizzled out” a mere three weeks post-David’s big 5-0 bash.

Brooklyn appeared to give his old man the cold shoulder during several key moments, including his 50th birthday do, his knighthood, and Father’s Day. Sir David himself paid a touching homage to his brood – Romeo, Cruz, and Harper – sharing a pic of the gang and seemingly nodding to the tiff with Brooklyn.

Underneath the family photo, he penned: “My most important and favourite job in life is being a dad… I’m so proud of all of you and like daddy (sorry boys) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what.

“Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad… Happy Father’s Day… I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.”

Yet again, Brooklyn kept mum on his old man’s big day. His wife, Nicola, didn’t drop a word about her father-in-law either, but she did give a shout-out to her own dad.
