The late Kim Woodburn famously had to be held back by security in the Celebrity Big Brother house after an explosive argument with Jamie O’Hara, which saw her call him an “adulterer”
The late Kim Woodburn once blasted former Premier League star Jamie O’Hara in an explosive Celebrity Big Brother row that has gone down in reality TV history.
Woodburn, known for her hit Channel 4 cleaning show, How Clean Is Your House? and her iconic appearances on CBB and I’m A Celeb, died at the age of 83 following a short battle with illness.
Known for her strong personality, Woodburn was involved in a furious row with ex-Tottenham midfielder O’Hara inside the CBB house in 2017. Having to be held back by security, Woodburn repeatedly slammed the footballer as an “adulterer”.
O’Hara married former Miss England Danielle Lloyd in 2012, with the couple having three sons together. However, Lloyd filed for divorce in 2014, after the midfielder now turned TalkSport pundit had admitted to cheating on the model on a night out.
The former Spurs, Wolves and Fulham star confessed: “On a night out, I cheated on her, which was a massive mistake. I was searching for a buzz I couldn’t get from football. When it came out, it was an explosion and got messy.”
The altercation in the CBB house initially involved an argument between American singer Stacy Francis and The Apprentice star Jessica Cunningham. Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry and former Page 3 girl Nicola McLean became embroiled in a heated debate with Stacy, while Jessica cried in the toilets, before Kim and Nicola exchanged insults.
Wayne Lineker’s ex Chloe had tried to calm Kim down, saying, “You’re making things worse,” but Kim wouldn’t back down, leading to a topless O’Hara confronting her and demanding: “Who the f*** are you talking to?”
After Kim branded Nicola “the mafia” for “picking on me” and branded her “horrible”, O’Hara intervened. He yelled at Kim: “You’re a disgrace, you are nasty, you are vile.”
Yet the then 74-year-old Kim fired back: “You’re an absolute disgrace! You’re a bunch of chinless wonders!”
An enraged O’Hara barked: “You’ve come in here and you’ve picked on young girls! I wouldn’t p*** on you if you were on fire!”
“Well I wouldn’t s*** on you, if you were on fire!’ Kim replied, before yelling: ‘Go away you adulterer! You’re an adulterer… you two-timed your wife and she’s got three kids!”
By this stage, security guards had been sent into the house and one escorted the raging Kim away – drink still in hand – and she ended up sleeping overnight in the spare room, away from the rest of the housemates.
“You’re talking about decency. Oh, come on darling,” she screeched.
The moment has gone down as one of the most infamous in Celebrity Big Brother history.
Despite the tumultuous altercation and finding herself on the wrong side of her housemates, Kim miraculously made it to the series final, finishing in third place.
O’Hara meanwhile was evicted ahead of the final.
