Love Island’s Chloe Burrows exposes details of cheeky ‘romantic’ new hobby

EXCLUSIVE: Love Island babe Chloe Burrows recently spoke exclusively to Daily Star about the latest past time she’s recently become totally obsessed with

Love Islander Chloe Burrows has spilled the tea on her biggest obsession.

Ahead of a live recording of her podcast, Chloe chatted exclusively with Daily Star and revealed: “[My fans] should know that I am the queen of ‘romantasy’ books at the moment!”

”I’m a Kindle girlie. I’m so into ‘romantasy’, anything fairy, dragons, magic, love it!”

The romantasy genre, a fiction subgenre that mixes both romance and fantasy together, has been blowing up on social media recently. Chloe has been hooked on reading but an unfortunate accident with her Kindle recently left her red-faced.

“Guess what? I was on holiday the other day and the wind blew my Kindle into the sea! It was a wild day, I was in the Maldives and it’s monsoon season. The wind took my Kindle, took the towel, launched it into the sea.”

Through a giggle Chloe admitted: “I put on my scuba set and went looking for it as if I was going to find it!”

The Love Island star was on the show back in 2021 and instantly won the nation’s hearts with her hilarious one-liners and sassy attitude.

Although she’s one of the biggest UK huns in the game, Chloe is still baffled when fans spot her out and about: “I’m always surprised when people notice me in public, because I’m just posing on my phone.”

Chloe can’t believe people recognise her in the street

”I think the wildest encounter I’ve ever had was when I was in the toilet and someone was banging on the door!”

“It still blows my mind [that people notice me], walking around I’m fine but as soon as I speak, that’s when they notice me because everyone recognises my voice.”

“It’s so funny because everyone says I have ten million accents, so how can you recognise them?! If I’m on a plane or something, they’ll come down and be like: ‘I knew I heard you!”

Chloe recently recorded a live episode of her podcast Chloe vs The World in collaboration with Smirnoff Miami Peach and thanked the brand for partnering with her: “My pod has taken a new lease of life this year, we’re taking it in a new direction. This is my first ever show with an audience thanks to Smirnoff!”

“I’m a Smirnoff girlie and this opportunity is amazing, I wouldn’t have done it if it wasn’t in collaboration. This drink is so me, this is so on brand, it was just so right.”
