David Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn posed for birthday snaps with Nicola Peltz and her dad after the pair reportedly failed to show up to David’s 50th birthday celebrations
Brooklyn Beckham has celebrated wife Nicola Peltz’s dad’s birthday after ‘snubbing’ his dad David’s 50th.
It’s claimed Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, have fallen out with the rest of the Beckhams. This reported Beckham family feud was fuelled back in April, when Brooklyn and Nicola seemingly failed to show up to his famous dad David’s 50th birthday dinner party in London.
However, Brooklyn was present for Nicola’s dad 83rd Nelson’s birthday party at the Peltz family’s huge home in Bedford, New York at the weekend. The chef was seen posing with Nicola and father-in-law Nelson in new snaps which he shared on Instagram.
The photo shows Nicola with her arm around Nelson as Brooklyn smiles in the background. Nicola took to Instagram with the pic in a series of snaps dedicated to her billionaire dad.
She wrote in the caption: “happy birthday dad! i am so lucky to be your daughter, you’re the most loving and supportive father i could ever dream of. i love you more than i could ever begin to express – you’re the wind beneath my wings. i loved celebrating you yesterday! thank you for always being there for us – our constant love and support.”
Last week, Brooklyn wrote on a snap of himself with Nicola and Nelson: “Happy birthday Nelson x We love you.” However, Brooklyn didn’t wish his own dad David a happy birthday online in April and didn’t post about the footy star on Father’s Day.
Of course, he may have reached out to David in private. However, the Beckhams are known for posting tributes to one another on birthdays and other occasions, so Brooklyn’s silence here could suggest relations are strained.
David included all three of his boys – included Brooklyn – and daughter Harper in a Father’s Day post on Sunday (June 15). He wrote: “My most important and favourite job in life is being a dad… I’m so proud of all of you and like daddy (sorry boys) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what…
“Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad… Happy Father’s Day… I love you kiddies more than you could imagine.”
He also sent a direct message to Brooklyn, sharing a sweet pic of him and Brooklyn on his Instagram Stories. He captioned the snap: “Love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham”
He posted a pic with each of his other kids, writing in separate posts: “Love you mate @romeobeckham”, “Love you Cruzie @cruzbackham” and “Love you pretty lady #HarperSeven”.
Brooklyn is currently living in Los Angeles with wife Nicola. They recently bought a Hollywood home worth a reported £10.5m.
