Orlando Bloom has hinted he is “taking the first step” amid claims he has split from fiancée Katy Perry.
The Hollywood actor has posted a cryptic Instagram message about “taking the first step” after speculation that he and Katy have parted ways.
The Pirates of The Caribbean star, 48, hinted at potential relationship troubles and moving forward in his life following reports that the formerly engaged couple have decided to split.
Orlando shared an inspirational quote from Buddha on his Instagram Story: “Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most.”
Another story read: “The important thing is to take the first step. Bravery overcoming one small fear gives you the courage to take on the next.”
Orlando’s motivational messages come as Katy is currently touring Australia on her Lifetimes tour. The I Kissed A Girl singer has been sharing her wild nights out Down Under, reports the Mirror.
Meanwhile, Orlando, who shares four-year-old daughter Daisy with Katy, recently spent a lavish star-studded weekend in Venice for the Bezos wedding, while Katy was noticeably absent despite having recently travelled into space with Lauren on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin rocket.
Neither Orlando nor Katy have confirmed if these reports are accurate, following a romance that has lasted nearly a decade.
The pair first met at a Golden Globes afterparty in 2016 and quickly hit it off, officially starting their relationship in May 2016. However, their relationship encountered difficulties when they temporarily split in 2017.
They later reconciled and got engaged on Valentine’s Day 201 and a year later Katy announced she was expecting Orlando’s child. The couple planned to marry in Japan in early 2020, but due to the Covid pandemic they had to postpone.
In the summer of 2020, they announced the birth of their first daughter.
