Gogglebox star Amy Tapper wowed in a floral dress at a family wedding, showcasing her incredible transformation after shedding three dress sizes in just 12 months. The 25-year-old took to Instagram to share a dramatic before-and-after comparison, wearing the same dress in a different print, and captioned it: “What a difference a year can make! Same dress, different print and three sizes smaller.”
Amy’s weight loss journey has been nothing short of remarkable, and in April, she proudly announced she had lost a staggering six stone.
Overcome with emotion, Amy shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, exclaiming: “Wow wow wow six stone down!! I cannot believe it – I am so proud of myself.”
She heaped praise on her personal trainer, crediting them not just for their physical guidance but also for their emotional support: “You are not only my personal trainer but truly a friend and more like a therapist – I couldn’t do any of this without you and your ongoing support, thank you for everything,” reports the Mirror.
Since rising to fame on Gogglebox with her family from 2013 until her departure in 2018, Amy has openly documented her fitness journey, regularly posting workout videos featuring weights, boxing, and gym sessions to inspire her followers.
Amy showcased her impressive weight loss progress earlier this year by posting a mirror selfie wearing a loose-fitting jumper from 2022. She expressed her pride, writing: “Officially five stone down and I couldn’t be happier. Never thought I’d be able to reach this milestone so I think I can say I’m proud of myself. Amy’s transformation began in early 2022, with a goal to lose 3.5stone. She achieved remarkable results, shedding 33cm from her waist in just five weeks.
She has been open about the difficulties she faced, sharing how years of online abuse during her time on Gogglebox led her to try unhealthy fad diets that failed to deliver lasting results.
Amy attributes her recent success to adopting positive lifestyle changes rather than relying on quick fixes. She has also spoken about growing up feeling self-conscious about her size, even though she wasn’t bullied.
Joining Gogglebox at the age of 13 with her family, including mother Nikki, father Jonathan, and brother Josh, Amy has now found pride and empowerment in her fitness journey.
