The couple, Heidi Orozco from Colombia, when her now fiancé, Sergio Gallego, have travelled 20 hours to be in Wales to see Liam and Noel Gallagher play together for the first time in 25 years
Proposals during concerts are common tales, but it’s not often you hear about someone popping the question the day before to mark the big event. This is precisely what happened to Heidi Orozco from Colombia, when her now fiancé, Sergio Gallego proposed to her yesterday, Thursday July 3 at Cardiff Castle.
The pair journeyed roughly 20 hours to reach the Welsh capital to witness Oasis kick off their Live 25 reunion tour in Cardiff’s Principality Stadium tonight, Friday July 4. Sergio decided that this was the perfect moment to propose to his girlfriend, although he didn’t want to detract from the real reason they were in Cardiff.
Sergio, a die-hard Oasis fan, was buzzing for the gig. He said: “It’s the most important gig in the world, I’ve been waiting for this moment for 25 years”.
He shared: “I’ve seen Liam in Buenos Aires and Argentina, Noel in Colombia, but I’ve never seen them together.”
The couple spoke warmly of their time in the city and the friendliness of its residents. Sergio said: “Cardiff is a lovely place the people are so kind and charming, it’s like a huge village. Friendly people, I feel so comfortable with the people here.”, reports Wales Online.
We are looking forward to seeing the culture and the people, and not drink too much because we want to enjoy the show and remember everything, every lyric, every note.
” In addition to the concert, they have another special memory from the trip as Sergio proposed to Heidi at Cardiff Castle. Sergio said: “It is the best trip we have done in our life. I didn’t want to propose at the concert because today is my day, yesterday was her day and I wanted to make it about her and not my favourite band.
“Despite her limited English, Heidi loves the music and is thrilled to see her new fiancé’s dream come true as he watches his favourite band.

Limited last-minute tickets can be snapped up from the official Ticketmaster resale site, where fans unable to attend offload their seats, although these tend to fluctuate in and out of stock rapidly. Meanwhile, resale platforms like Viagogo, Vivid Seats, StubHub and Twickets are flogging tickets for various dates with prices starting at £121, though fans should always remember that many official sites, such as Ticketmaster and Live Nation, advise against purchasing resale tickets.
