Fans who are planning on parking ‘in and around Heaton Park’ over the next few days have been warned to study certain information ahead of Oasis’ reunion shows
Fans travelling to see Oasis for their gigs at Heaton Park in Manchester have been issued with an urgent warning. Lovers of the legendary Britpop band who are travelling to Noel and Liam Gallagher’s Heaton Park appearances this month have been warned there will be “no parking in or around the vicinity of Heaton Park for Oasis ticket holders”.
The stern advice was issued by Heaton Park & Hall’s official Facebook page, and comes ahead of tomorrow’s gig (July 11). The other huge reunion shows at Heaton Park are set to take place on July 12, 16, 19 and 20.
The hugely anticipated Oasis reunion tour is well and truly underway, 16 years after the band broke up, with Noel saying he “simply couldn’t go on working with Liam a day longer”.
But years later, and the pair of them strode out side-by-side on July 4 to a jubilant crowd at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium, kicking off the string of performances.
And then, in a thrilling move Oasis dropped a surprise song at midnight last night, sending shockwaves of excitement among fans.
The newly released track is a live rendition of their beloved classic, Slide Away, with the electrifying energy of the crowd singing along in the background. Social media platforms are abuzz with fans clamoring for more, fuelling speculation about a potential new album.
One fan took to X, wondering: “Do we think this is a sign there’s an Album to follow ??”. A fan account chimed in, noting: “The way this fades in and out by the way sounds like it would fit perfectly in a full live album.”
As the buzz around a possible album grew, another fan suggested: “Different track from each venue. YES.PLEASE.”
A fellow enthusiast passionately pleaded: “I’m desperately begging oasis to release a live 25 album i need to hear noel singing little by little in my ears”.
The song is now available on multiple streaming platforms, including Spotify.
During their explosive reunion performance, the band tore through a setlist packed with fan favorites, from Wonderwall to Live Forever, proving that the magic of Oasis is still very much alive.
The siblings appeared to have put their past differences behind them, and fans couldn’t be more thrilled.
Earlier this month, thousands of fans descended upon Cardiff, with locals claiming to have heard the band rehearsing iconic tracks like Slide Away, Cigarettes and Alcohol, and Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.
