Danny Dyer is returning to the small screen with a TV series full of “spicy moments, secrets and revelations” as fans gear up to watch their favourite EastEnders star in action
Danny Dyer’s new series will have some “spicy” twists.
Mr Bigstuff is set to return on Sky with Danny Dyer reprising his role as Lee Campbell. Ryan Sampson, the creator of the series, will reprise his role as Lee’s estranged brother Glen.
Sampson has also promised that the new season will be “spicy” in a conversation with Radio Times: “There’s a lot of family secrets and revelations unearthed between these brothers. I can’t really say more, but it’s spicy!”
The plot reveals that after discovering their father isn’t actually dead, Lee and Glen react to the shocking news in very different ways. In a quest for answers, the brothers join forces to locate their missing father, reports the Express.
Fans won’t have to wait much longer as season two is set to air on Sky and NOW on Thursday, July 24.
As per comedy.co.uk, the first two episodes will be broadcast on Sky Max at 9pm on July 24 while he remaining four episodes will air weekly, ending in the finale on August 21.
Adrian Scarborough, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Victoria Alcock, Ned Dennehy and Clive Russell will all be returning to their roles as Ian, Aysha, Sue, Bunny and Uncle Ron respectively. There will also be guest appearances including one from Dyer’s EastEnders co-star Linda Henry, who will play no-nonsense mechanic Pam at the family haulage firm.
The new series will feature Rula Lenska as Rita, a charming woman who the brothers suspect is linked to their missing father. Shaun Williamson will play a furious children’s entertainer, who becomes involved in another heated clash between the brothers.
