Katie Price could face being homeless as landlord wants her out of new home

Reality star Katie Price has been forced to move house once again after her landlord decided to sell the property – and the star is struggling to find a new place to live

Reality star Katie Price could find herself without a roof over her head as she faces being booted out of her rental home.

The former glamour model turned telly personality has been brutally honest about her housing woes in recent times, having been forced to abandon her infamous Mucky Mansion due to spiralling debts.

The 47-year-old currently calls a mock Tudor-style, four-bedroom pad in Sussex her home, where she’s been living for eight months. Katie shells out roughly £5,000 a month for the rental property.

However, the star has now revealed she’s reached a crucial turning point regarding her future in the house, reports the Mirror.

Despite boasting about earning big bucks from her X-rated subscription site and various brand partnerships, Katie admits she’s battling to secure a guarantor for her next rental move.

“I was supposed to have this place for about two years,” she explained about her current digs, before revealing: “The guy who owns it – such a nice guy – he let me have the place even though I didn’t have a guarantor.

“And I’ve been on time with all the payments, as you should, bills and everything. But now he wants to sell it.”

During a chat on her podcast, The Katie Price Show with sister Sophie, Katie vented: “It p***** me off. Some houses I look at, I can’t get a guarantor. Some people don’t earn money like me to be a guarantor.

“One house I do want, the landlord wants six months’ rent up front in case I miss a payment and he also wants a guarantor – even though I’ve got the best reference ever from this guy. It’s so annoying. Because that guy has read the papers and that, I get judged on it. It’s so annoying.”

Sophie tried to set things straight with Katie, saying: “Nowadays with renting they are asking for more, it is more competitive.”

But Katie, who’s never been one to hide her difficulties, hit back: “The truth is people don’t realise I got into all that bankruptcy stuff not because I didn’t want to pay but because I had a breakdown.”

The telly personality has faced bankruptcy twice – first in November 2019 and again in March 2024, though both were later discharged. Her old pad, dubbed Mucky Mansion, which she snapped up in 2014 from Francis Maude, went on the market in December following her eviction over money woes.

Katie was forced to give up her Mucky Mansion due to mounting debts

Just weeks ago, Katie revealed she’d been scrolling through Rightmove hunting for fresh digs after learning her current landlord fancied flogging the property. She said: “I’ve got to move house as the guy who owns it wants to sell the house now. So, I’ve got to go on the house hunt again.

“I might go closer to the kids’ school. I am gonna talk to the guy, he might let me stay there a bit longer but he might not.”

Still, should her current arrangement fall through, Katie’s keen to relocate nearer to where her children attend school. In December, she eventually found a buyer for Mucky Mansion after reducing the price twice.

The property was initially on the market for £1.5million, before being dropped to £1.35 million.

However, the celebrity, who was evicted for failing to keep up with mortgage payments, later reduced it further to £1.15 million. But she didn’t receive any money from the sale as it was used to settle the debts she had accrued.
