Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd tied the knot yesterday to his wife Hanni Treweek and they invited some of their favourite Corrie cast members to celebrate with them
Two Coronation Street cast members have been spotted snogging at Jack P Shepherd’s wedding bash.
The David Platt star got hitched to his new wife Hanni Treweek in a romantic ceremony on Saturday (July 27) which took place just a year after the actor proposed.
Jack, 37, and Hanni, 36, were joined by many famous faces from the ITV cast on the night including real life soap couple Sally Carman and Joe Duttine.
The pair were keen to leave a lasting impression when they made their exit from the reception as they were seen having a passionate smooch in the early hours of last night.
The couple, who play Abi Franklin and Tim Metcalfe on the show, stumbled out of the swanky Manchester reception looking all loved up and ready to call it a night as Sally had already swapped her heels for comfy flip flops.
The pair have been dating since 2018 and got hitched in 2022, but as close as they are, this doesn’t mean Sally likes to work with Joe on screen. Actually, she has revealed she would rather not work with him ever again!
In a previous chat with the Daily Star, Sally told us: “I don’t work with him that much and I really don’t want to work with him.
“It’s because he makes me laugh it’s horrendous. He’s the funniest man I’ve ever met, to the point where I get sweaty and everyone’s like ‘Ugh, can you just get on with it?’
When asked how she would feel if they introduced more scenes with them both in, she quipped: “No! I never want to work with him ever again. I just can’t do it!”
Other Corrie stars making an appearance on the night included Jack’s onscreen mum Helen Worth, who was accompanied by husband Trevor Dawson.
The Gail Platt actress, who filmed her final scenes last year after making a grand exit from the show, beamed as she made her way out of the posh venue.
