The TV presenter and musician says she walked in as her bodyguard ex Graham Quinn and a ‘famous woman’ were ‘unzipping each other’ on her balcony
Myleene Klass has claimed her life “broke apart” when she walked in on her husband cheating with another celebrity – at her own birthday bash. The TV presenter and musician was hosting the party at home to mark her celebrations when she alleged she caught her now ex-husband Graham Quinn with a “famous woman” on her balcony.
Myleene, famed for her I’m A Celeb shower scene, said she walked in just as Quinn and the female star were taking off each other’s clothes. She remained tight-lipped when asked who the “famous woman” was but said she has built a career off a “family brand”.
I’m A Celebrity champion Myleene, 47, said her life “literally just broke apart very, very publicly”.
The former Hear’Say singer had married Irish Quinn, 51, in 2011 a decade after they had met after he became one of the band’s bodyguards. But the couple – who have two children Ava, 17, and 14-year-old Hero – broke up just six months after tying the knot.
Myleene told the We Need To Talk podcast: “I walked in on him with a famous person on my birthday on a balcony. I’m in my house. It’s my party. They weren’t having sex but they were unzipping each other.”
She said the pair were saying: “It’s not what you think.”
“But I’m like, ‘it is what I think’,” she went on. “I kicked everybody out of the party – including his mum and dad. They went back to Ireland and his dad said, ‘he doesn’t get it from me’. I was like, ‘OK’.
“I just remember that was quite a weird thing to say.”
Myleene said her ex-husband blamed it on being drunk. “He said it was the drink,” she said.
She admitted it was a “pretty big red flag” but she still went ahead with the wedding.
Klass said the woman that she caught her ex-husband with has gone on to forge a successful career built on a “family brand”.
“I’ve made peace with that situation now but for a long time, it was very difficult to see their life,” she said. “Not that I would wish that on a family. I don’t know… I feel conflicted.
“But my life literally just broke apart very, very publicly. And their life? They’ve managed to continue building a family brand on it. And it just felt so difficult for a long time.”
Myleene told podcast host Paul C Brunson she could not name the famous woman because “that’ll definitely get your lawyers in a right old pickle”.
She also said she felt some responsibility.
“I have to take some accountability,” she said. “Look, you know, first and foremost to my children. My children have asked enough questions and it’s never been a case of laying out my stall now. It’s got to be as and when.
“But here’s the funny thing – school mums, people who just want to gossip, will go to your children before anybody else.”
Myleene hit the big time when she joined Hear’Say which was created on former ITV talent search show Popstars in 2001.
The band also featured Kym Marsh, 49, who went on to star in Coronation Street, Suzanne Shaw, 43, who appeared in Emmerdale and won ITV skating reality show Dancing on Ice, actor Noel Sullivan, 45, and soul singer Danny Foster, 46.
After quitting the band Myleene hosted TV series including Popstar to Operastar, BBQ Champ, The One Show and was a regular panellist on ITV’s Loose Women.
In 2006 she finished runner-up in the sixth series of I’m A Celebrity and returned two years ago in 2023 to win the all-stars series of the show in South Africa.
She is currently engaged to Simon Motson with whom she has a five-year-old son Apollo.
Quinn has not commented on the podcast.
