TV presenters Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty have separated after more than a decade of marriage, they said in a statement.
They said in a joint statement to the PA news agency: “We have taken the decision to end our marriage and are now separated. There is no other party involved.
“We will continue to be united as loving parents to our children and would therefore kindly ask for our family privacy to be respected. There will be no further comment.”
They wed in September 2012 at a ceremony in Rome and have two children together.
It comes months after This Morning viewers were quick to show their support for host Cat as she got candid about her hubby’s health woes.

While presenting the show with Ben Shephard, the pair delved into a chat about shingles, particularly its impact on the over 50s crowd. Cat revealed that her other half Patrick was clueless about having caught the nasty bug – initially blaming it on their home renovations.
She shared: “He thought he’d touched his face. He’d got this burning, tingling, stinging sensation, so that’s what he thought it was.”
Doctor Sara Kayat was on hand to dish out advice on what signs to watch for: “Firstly you tend to get this tingly, burning sensation. You may also notice you’re feeling more fatigued you’ve got a headache, you’re tired. You might even have a bit of a temperature.

“A few days later you can start to develop a blotchy rash and then that develops into fluid-filled blisters, which start to crust over and scab away.” Cat added: “They can be on the trunk of your body? [Patrick] has got them on his face, actually!”
Sara confirmed that the blighters could crop up “anywhere” – including in the genital area. Concerned fans didn’t waste a moment before hitting up social media to share their two pence, sending love to Cat and Patrick.

One viewer shared their painful experience on Twitter: “I got shingles about 3 months ago, lasted for about 6 weeks, it was bloody horrible! ” Another sympathised, tweeting: “Shingles is quite possibly the worst pain ever. I had it as a 13 year old on my crotch. Pus filled blisters lasting weeks. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy.”
Meanwhile, another added their voice to the conversation: “I feel for Cat’s husband, shingles is awful!”
