Noel Gallagher launches fury at Oasis crowd as band are booed during London gig

Noel Gallagher was left fuming after a recent Oasis gig in London as the audience booed the lead singer, which led Noel to start a rag-fuelled rant from the stage

Noel Gallagher battled to contain his anger at a recent Oasis gig. Supporters at one of Oasis’ London performances began jeering the lead singer after he took to the stage and asked a simple question.

Dressed in a black T-shirt and denim jeans, Noel questioned the crowd: “Any Mancunians we got in the house?” as a thunderous cheer erupted from the audience in response, except for a handful of people near the front of the stage.

Noel launched into the troublemakers in the packed venue and while glaring straight at the supporters, the 58-year-old vocalist declared: “What you f***** booing for?”

“You’re only here because of Mancunians. You’re only here because of Manchester aren’t you? You want to be us? What you booing for?”

Moments afterwards, he struck his guitar strings and turned away from the crowd after dedicating his following number to “all Mancunians”.

Whilst siblings Noel and Liam Gallagher appear to be on good terms, last week’s show demonstrated that the brothers have firmly left their turbulent history in the past, reports the Mirror.

Sixteen years ago after a massive row whilst in Paris, Oasis announced their breakup and both Liam and Noel decided to pursue solo careers. During their Oasis 25 tour’s Wembley gig last Wednesday, Liam dedicated a song to his elder brother which stirred up a wave of emotion among the fans.

Just before he began to sing, he addressed the crowd, saying: “Now I’ve gotta dedicate this next tune to our kid – Stand By Me.” This touching moment was captured on video by a fan who posted it to X/Twitter.

One person commented: “Stop I’ll cry’; ‘Oh my heart” as another penned: “I love this! Wish I could be at one of these biblical gigs! I love Oasis,” while a third wrote: “I’M GONNA CRY THIS IS THE CUTEST.”
