Anais Gallagher, the daughter of Oasis legend Noel Gallagher, was in the crowd at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Friday evening as the band took to the stage for the first of three sold-out gigs in Scotland
Oasis has landed in Scotland, kicking off their trio of sold-out shows in Edinburgh on Friday with a bang as part of their hotly-awaited Live ’25 reunion tour. As the Gallagher brothers stormed the stage at Murrayfield Stadium, Noel Gallagher’s daughter stole the spotlight in the crowd by proudly repping a beloved Scottish football team – Glasgow’s very own Celtic FC.
Anais Gallagher, 25, has been a regular fixture at her dad’s gigs throughout the tour, including the opening shows in Cardiff and last week’s blockbuster five-night run at London’s legendary Wembley Stadium. However, Friday’s Edinburgh performance marked the first time Anais has been spotted rocking Celtic’s iconic colours, with the youngster posting a snap on her Instagram story showcasing herself clad in a green Adidas tracksuit top emblazoned with the club’s logo.
The photo was swiftly shared by Oasis devotees across social media, with many fans praising her for boldly showing off her team spirit. It’s no secret that Noel and Liam Gallagher’s mum, Peggy Gallagher, is an ardent Celtic fan, and it seems that passion has trickled down to the next generation.
One fan who reposted the image of Anais on X gushed: “Oasis star @NoelGallagher’s daughter Anais representing the @CelticFC colours at Murrayfield last night.
“Noel and Liam’s mum Peggy is famously a massive Celtic fan, with both brothers regularly showing their support for the Hoops throughout the years.”
One social media user noted: “Anais rocking the Celtic trackie at the Oasis gig.”
A third ecstatic fan exclaimed: “ANAIS WEARING CELTIC YESSS.”
However, Anais recently expressed her frustration over being inundated with messages from Oasis fans pleading for help in obtaining tickets for the eagerly anticipated reunion concerts.
All dates of the UK and Ireland tour sold out within minutes last August, leading the band to add two more shows at Wembley Stadium – which also disappeared in record time.
Despite the scarcity of tickets, some desperate fans haven’t given up, resorting to badgering Anais for help.
In a TikTok video, she vented: “What is it about some Oasis fans? DM-ing me like I am f***ing Ticketmaster or Shopify or something.
“People are messaging me like, ‘I’m having trouble transferring my ticket to somebody – this is my Ticketmaster code’. What the f*** do I know about Ticketmaster?”
Anais has even been contacted by people seeking advice on Oasis merchandise, including questions about unavailable T-shirt sizes and where they might find one.
She added: “How am I meant to know what shops are stocking your size?”
“I don’t know, I wish I could help you but I am kind of baffled that when people have an issue they think, ‘Do you know what, let me DM Anais, she’s going to know how I can transfer my ticket’. Guys … I can’t!”
