Dance Moms star JoJo Siwa has opened up about her desire to start a family in the future, as she says she ‘craves’ motherhood and it’s ‘not that far away’
Dance Moms sensation JoJo Siwa has dropped hints about her plans to start a family, which she says are “not too far off”, with her beau Chris Hughes as their love story continues to blossom. The pair first crossed paths in the Celebrity Big Brother house in April, where viewers witnessed the birth of a beautiful friendship that eventually blossomed into romance. Shortly after the show wrapped, they announced they were an item and have been giving fans a peek into their love life online ever since.
While in the UK promoting her latest track Raspy, 22-year-old JoJo opened up about her future aspirations, revealing a deep desire for motherhood, not long after they addressed pregnancy speculation.
When quizzed about her thoughts on having children, JoJo confessed to The Sun: “I crave them, I absolutely would love to have babies, it’s absolutely in my future and I don’t think it’s that far away.”
The dancer went on to say: “I’m at a place in my life where my career by no means is slowing down, but my career is at a point where it works and it runs and I know how to do everything that I’m doing and I’m not learning anything new, so I’m at a great place with that.”
She added: “Obviously I have a great boy in my life, there are a lot of things to happen before then, but definitely want kids.”
This revelation about JoJo’s family plans comes after Chris, 32, spoke candidly about their tight-knit relationship last month in a chat with US Weekly, where he broached the subject of the couple tying the knot.
Chris revealed: “When you’re besotted with each other and in love with someone, I think it’s fun to look forward to those things.”
He continued: “Of course, I want to get married to her, I would never shy away from that. And one day I want to have children. We both come from extremely loving families and very wholesome families who care for you so it would be nice to reciprocate that going forward. One day I’d love to have children, it would be an absolute dream for sure.”
Last month, JoJo addressed pregnancy speculation head-on to her 46 million TikTok followers whilst promoting her rendition of Bette Davis Eyes, reports the Mirror..
The speculation kicked off on TikTok following footage of Chris seemingly tenderly caressing JoJo’s tummy, which sparked a frenzy amongst fans with countless videos discussing the rumours flooding the platform.
JoJo chose to quash the gossip through a game of Two Truths and A Lie, challenging followers to identify the false statement: “1) I’ve never smoked a [cigarette] 2) I’m pregnant 3) This song comes out on Spotify Friday.”
