Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan has shared a long-awaited update on social media after the former Top Gear presenter’s farm was struck with a number of sudden issues
Jeremy Clarkson’s partner has teased an update on the next series of Clarkson’s Farm.
Lisa Hogan appears to have dropped hints on social media about a potential fifth series filming with some positive news after an unfortunate few weeks at Diddly Squat Farm.
The crew has had a rough time recently after the 65-year-old Top Gear presenter revealed that his Oxfordshire farm had been hit by bovine tuberculosis. He also suffered a heartbreaking loss as one of his dog’s puppies died.
He wrote on X/Twitter: “Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated. We’re now locked down and it’s just dreadful, absolutely dreadful,” before confirming that they would be shut for a minimum of two months, although the farm shop will remain “unaffected” reports the Mirror.
Meanwhile, Lisa has been updating followers about the surviving puppies and recently posted a farming development on Instagram. She posted a video showing a combine harvester alongside what appeared to be a film crew positioned near the tractors and wrote: “Good day, very good day in the office.”
When one follower asked whether Clarkson’s Farm favourite Gerald would be managing this year’s harvest, Lisa teased: “All will be revealed. “How is the harvest this year?” another fan wondered as Lisa responded: “Scorched.”
Someone else praised: “Great work to all Cotswold farmers. I recently captured harvest for a nearby farm was amazing,” as another said: “I remember that feeling of satisfaction seeing the combine going up and down the field. A job well done!”
One viewer remarked: “I’ve just watched episode 8 from last year so hopefully this harvest is better for you.”
Last November, during a Bonfire night celebration with drones illuminating the sky, Clarkson announced the fifth season of his popular show.: “Over the years, bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements – the birth of baby Jesus, for example.”
As the drones formed the number five, he continued: “But tonight, they’re being used to make an announcement that’s even bigger than that. Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm is coming,” but he later hinted at a potential break before the season.
While speaking to The Times he confessed: “Whatever happens we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.”
