Channel 4 Gogglebox star Pete Sandiford has delighted fans after sharing a sun-soaked pool snap during a recent holiday – as his rarely-seen wife was quick to respond
Gogglebox favourite Pete Sandiford has thrilled fans, and his wife, after posting a sun-drenched poolside snap. The television personality first appeared on the Channel 4 programme back in 2027 for series 10 alongside sister Sophie – and they quickly became viewer favourites.
Throughout the years, Pete and Sophie – who reside in Blackpool – have left audiences in hysterics with their sharp wit, clever one-liners and humorous commentary on television highlights.
Beyond the small screen, Pete enjoys a blissful relationship with wife Paige. The couple share two children, Jimmy and Eva.
Over the weekend, despite typically maintaining privacy around his personal life, Pete shared a glimpse of a recent overseas getaway on Instagram.
The snapshot showed Pete enjoying himself in a swimming pool whilst relaxing on an inflatable float and holding a tin of beer. His caption read: “August [green tick emoji] only 11 more months to sort for Paige’s Christmas present! A cheeky calendar of the best husband in the world.”
Followers quickly responded to the image, flooding the comments section with reactions. Pete’s wife Paige also joined in, writing: “*sexiest,” accompanied by a laughing face emoji.
One admirer commented: “Bahaha Pete you legend.”
Another added: “She’s a lucky woman!!” while a third remarked: “Cheeky chappy.”
Little is publicly known about Paige as she hasn’t featured on Gogglebox, though reports suggest she works as an emergency services call handler and holds a degree in English and linguistics from Queen Mary University of London, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Pete announced their engagement in 2021 on the Channel 4 programme. The couple exchanged vows in May that same year and celebrated the arrival of their first child, Jimmy, in September.
Their second little one, Eva, arrived in 2023. Pete posted a sweet snapshot of his newborn daughter on Instagram, writing: “Myself and @paigesandiford_ would like to welcome the newest addition to our family, Eva Sylvie Sandiford.”
