Tommy Fury ‘lost huge career opportunities’ over Molly-Mae Hague cheating claims

Tommy Fury has opened up about the cheating allegations that surrounded him after splitting from Molly-Mae Hague back in August 2024, which cost him some huge brand deals

Tommy Fury was dropped from major jobs while battling cheating allegations.

The former Love Island contestant has revealed that he was dropped from major brand partnerships when allegations of cheating on Molly-Mae Hague surfaced back in 2024. The pair began dating after meeting on the ITV dating show back in 2019 and the pair share daughter Bambi, but split back in 2024.

Tommy has raked in cash from deals with M&S, Aldi and The Gym Group and wedding bells were on the horizon until their sudden split in August last year. Speculation immediately began swirling that Tommy had cheated, despite him dismissing these claims as ‘complete and utter b*******’ during interviews.

In the third instalment of his BBC documentary series, Tommy: The Good, The Bad. The Fury, he disclosed that the chaotic period also cost him professionally: “The phone did go quiet,” reports the Mirror.

The sportsman injured his hand early last year, leaving him unable to train. He began drinking heavily after hitting “rock bottom” and this marked the beginning of the end for the couple’s relationship amid intense public scrutiny of their private lives.

Tommy said: “I had enough drink to last me a lifetime in 2024. Suddenly, one day, you find that all you can do is sit down and then a few of them [drinks] takes the pain away.”

“You forget where you are, you forget what’s going on. And sometimes you want that feeling all the time, and that’s where obviously it starts.”

Mr Fury has since turned over a new leaf and explained: “Now, when I look at that person from back then, I don’t even recognise that guy. It’s just not me. Back then, I didn’t really care about anything. It was like the world going by, wasn’t bothered, and that’s just not me.”

The boxer hasn’t eliminated alcohol from his life entirely, but revealed he’s now hardly touching a drop: “Going forward, if it’s a wedding or something like that, I might have a couple of drinks. Four or five times a week is something nobody should be doing.”
