Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle could be about to leave the Dales forever after revealing he and killer husband John Sugden could move away and start a new life together
Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle could be leaving the Dales for good.
The Dales regular, played by Danny Miller, returned to the soap in 2023 after two years away from the village. However, it seems he could be bidding it farewell once again as Aaron has teased plans to leave the village and start a new life with his (killer) husband John Sugden.
The idea came after Aaron cheated on John with his ex Robert, who also happens to be the villain’s brother. John seemed keen on rekindling their relationship but Aaron later regretted the decision and felt terrible for betraying John.
It even led Aaron to think about packing up his old life and getting away from Robert and his troubles. He told John they should move away from the Dales and get a “fresh start”.
Aaron suggested they should stay somewhere for a couple of weeks and, if they like it, stay there for good. It could be the perfect way for John to evade the police as he heard the case into Nate Robinson’s death was close to being re-opened.
John, fearing cops might discover it was him behind Nate’s death, accepted Aaron’s offer and they headed to the pub to tell everyone. Aaron told his mum: “If we like the area [we are going], we are gonna stay on.”
Chas Dingle assumed they were just going for a few weeks, but John confirmed: “Actually, we were thinking of something more long-term.” Aaron said: “We need a fresh start so, we are moving away!”
Spoiler pictures teased the pair weren’t just staying in any old rental home. Aaron was seen holding a photograph by a desk which had trophies on it – and fans believe these trophies belong to John and thus that they’re staying in a home connected to the killer.
One fan wrote on X: “Are we sure this is a holiday cottage because why are John’s trophies there is he that self obsessed he has to take them with him.” Another said: “You feel where ever they are, John has chosen the place as he’s familiar with it. Its not going to be some random place i doubt.”
A scene from the spoiler pics suggest Aaron is confronting John about something, which could mean he’s unearthed one of John’s dark secrets. If so, this could put him in grave danger.
It comes as Aaron’s mate Mackenzie discovered that John had paid a man to lie to the police about Nate. Fans know that John accidentally killed Nate by drugging him as part of his twisted hero complex.
And it’s said John star Oliver Farnworth is set to leave the soap after a year. It’s claimed that (spoiler incoming) John will brutally kill Mackenzie and that Mack’s actor Robb has already filmed his “harrowing” death scenes.
