Actor Floyd Levine has died.
The Hollywood star, known for his roles in The Hangover, Baywatch and Norbit, has sadly passed at the age of 93 after a long career with film credits dating back to 1972.
His daughter-in-law Tracy Robbins took to Instagram to share the news and wrote: “He was surrounded by his beautiful family (and probably wishing someone would bring him a martini). The best father-in-law, grandpa and all-around jokester, Floyd loved Frank Sinatra, classic films and making everyone laugh.”
Levine had an extensive catalogue, appearing in Coach Carter, Dog Day Afternoon, Night Shift and many more well-known films.
Floyd was also the father of actor Brian Robbins. When his son began acting in the early 1980s, Brian decided to use the last name of Floyd’s mother.
The father-son duo appeared in separate episodes of CBS’ Archie Bunker’s Place in 1981 and 1982, and later appeared together in ABC’s Head of the Class. Floyd played a judge and Brian played student Eric Mardian.

Floyd later appeared on Nickelodeon’s Kenan and Kel, which Brian directed and produced, and an ice cream man on Good Burger, which Brian also worked on. He appeared in Coach Carter and Norbit, both movies produced by his son.
