Kerry Katona has undergone a breast uplift and new implants after losing weight following her upsetting split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney – and she’s “never been happier”
Kerry Katona has revealed she’s the ‘happiest she’s ever been’ after shedding weight and undergoing a recent breast uplift.
The former Atomic Kitten star has always been transparent about her cosmetic procedures, regularly sharing updates and footage of her treatments with fans on social media.
The 44-year-old, who’s currently starring on Celebs Go Dating, unveiled the outcome of her fourth breast enhancement after opting for a lift and fresh implants. She prioritised her diet and wellbeing after parting ways with fiancé Ryan Mahoney, but decided on surgery when concerns about loose skin around her chest left her feeling her breasts appeared droopy.
She returned to renowned clinic Pall Mall, where she’d previously had work done, and now declares she’s “in the best shape I’ve ever been, and feel the happiest I’ve ever been.
“Having a breast uplift with Mr Prasad has been the icing on the cake. I feel whole again,” she revealed.
Consultant Breast Oncoplastic and Aesthetic Surgeon Mr Ramachandran Prasad – who carried out the operation – explained the procedure and why it suited Kerry perfectly, reports the Mirror.
“Weight loss is a brilliant achievement and can do wonders for health and self-esteem, but it often comes with a side effect people don’t always expect: excess skin and reduced skin tone. In the breasts, this usually shows up as droopiness,” the medic explained. “Unfortunately, improving skin tone itself is tricky, but what we can do is combine breast implants with carefully removing excess skin to achieve a perkier, more youthful shape.
“This is called an Augmentation Mastopexy, and that’s exactly what we planned for Kerry. It can really transform the appearance of the breasts and help people feel more like themselves again.”
Meanwhile, Kerry has recently spoken candidly about experiencing feelings of isolation after her breakup with Ryan at the close of last year.
The ex-Atomic Kitten vocalist was previously wed to Westlife’s Brian McFadden, with whom she shares daughters Molly, 23, and Lilly-Sue, 22, before going on to welcome Heidi, 18, and Max, 17, with her second spouse Mark Croft.
She’s also mum to 11 year old DJ with her late partner George Kay, but confessed during the most recent instalment of the E4 reality programme that despite being surrounded by her offspring, life without a romantic partner remains challenging.
Speaking to Celebs Go Dating relationship gurus Anna Williamson and Paul C. Brunson, she revealed: “I do get lonely. I know when I’m at home, when we got back from Ibiza, I was really down. I wanted someone to be there for me. I’ve got my kids and I love being at home with my kids but it is lonely.”
