Come Dine With Me stars have been forced to film until the early hours of the morning.

Jade Barbie, who previously appeared on the Channel 4 show, spoke exclusively to Daily Star on behalf of OLBG and said: “I don’t think it’s what people think it is, it’s long days and long hours. You’re there until 3am!

“There was a camera man who couldn’t stand me because I kept messing up and I had to re-do it. When you had to explain how you were doing something while cooking, I would just say it how I would normally say it, but they said I had to say it again.

“I can’t act, I can’t say something again in the same way. I would say I wasn’t doing it.”

Despite the gruelling filming hours, Jade confessed that she’d be up for filming another series: “I would 100% do it again, but I would do it so differently. I was just so nervous, but it was still the best time ever.

“I didn’t know how to cook, I can cook a lot better now. I would take a bit more care over the food, but I didn’t really care about that – I was more excited to just go and have fun. I was just there to meet new people and have a laugh.”

The 37-year-old filmed her series in 2021 during Covid-19 restrictions, which meant she and her fellow contestants had to film in a mansion rather than in their own homes like usual.

Jade told us that “there was so much drama that wasn’t on the show” and “so much that they missed out.”

Channel 4 also cut scenes of her pet dog “being so naughty and running everywhere,” as well as “funny conversations when they couldn’t stop laughing”. Another scene ditched from the series saw Jade “walking up the drive towards the house and fall over”.
