Freddie Mercury’s ‘secret daughter’, B, has made a bombshell claim about the Queen frontman’s death – blaming his alleged former partner Barbara Valentin for his passing
A woman claiming to be Freddie Mercury’s “secret daughter” has made a shocking allegation about the Queen frontman’s death – pointing the finger at his alleged lover Barbara Valentin for his demise.
Freddie passed away four years after his AIDS diagnosis in 1987, succumbing to complications from the illness in November 1991 aged just 45.
Valentin shared a close bond with Mercury, with the pair living together alongside her daughter in a Munich flat. However, his alleged “secret daughter”, identified only as B, claims Valentin “took him deeper” rather than helping to keep him stable.
Speaking about Barbara, who died in 2002, she said: “No one can deny her significance in Freddie’s life throughout the two years that their relationship lasted.”, reports the Express.
“Had she adopted the same attitude as Mary, and had she tried to keep Freddie’s feet on the ground rather than taking him deeper, his immune system might have resisted the virus for significantly longer,” she told MailOnline.
She continued: “Instead, she gave him whatever he wanted, and became his partner in debauchery, depravity and decadence.”
B alleges she was accidentally conceived during a liaison with the spouse of a close mate in 1976.
The 48 year old now resides in Europe and works in the medical field.
B has featured in a biography by Lesley-Ann Jones, penning in a handwritten note: “Freddie Mercury was and is my father.
“We had a very close and loving relationship from the moment I was born and throughout the final 15 years of his life. He adored me and was devoted to me.”
She alleges that Freddie entrusted her with 17 handwritten journals, which she describes as “the closest thing to a Freddie Mercury autobiography that the world will ever know”. These claims were reportedly already well-known among the Queen star’s inner circle.
However, Brian May’s wife, Anita Dobson, has dismissed it as “fake news”.
