Singer Susan Boyle is finally learning to ride a bicycle at 58 – but has “still got the stabilisers on”.
The Britain’s Got Talent star insisted it’s “better late than never” after announcing her cycling goal for 2020.
But she fears she’ll break an arm or a leg if takes off the extra wheels.
SuBo, who achieved worldwide fame after her ‘I Dreamed a Dream’ performance on the ITV talent show BGT in 2009, will this year perform in the UK for the first time in six years when she embarks on a tour.
The Scottish star said: “I’ve bought myself a bike.

“I can ride an exercise bike, but I never learned to ride a bike as a girl. Better late than never. I’ve still got the stabilisers on.
“I’ll have to take them off at some point, but I don’t want to fall off and then come on stage for my tour in a cast.”
Her other major goal for this year is learning how to drive.
She added: “I’ve had a couple of driving lessons. I never learned before, I think I was a bit frightened.
“I was always saying ‘I’m going to do it’, so I’ve taken the plunge. It took a lot of thinking about, believe me.”

The star, who still lives near the ex-council house where she grew up in West Lothian, Scotland, also revealed she wants to lose weight.
She still has the gold dress from her BGT audition but can’t fit into it.
Susan’s prayers were answered when she fulfilled her lifelong dream of performing for the Pope in December.
She had to “pinch” herself at the Vatican’s annual Christmas concert.
The devout Catholic was joined on the bill by Lionel Richie and Bonnie Tyler, right.
