Stephanie Lowe is Phillip Schofield’s wife, who he has been married to since 1993.

Phillip popped the question while he was nude.

Talking about giving her the ring, he said: “It was in an advent calendar and you could put your own thing into the little boxes.

Phillip and Stephanie met when she was working as a BBC production assistant when he was working for BBC children’s children’s television.

At the time he said: “You’d have thought someone wouldn’t be attracted to a man with a puppet and dodgy jumpers!”

Stephanie hasn’t worked in the TV industry for a long time, but she still joined her husband to film Schofield’s South African Adventure 2018.

The three-part documentary saw the pair explore the local culture in South Africa.

The presenter previously revealed on Lorraine: “She worked in television years ago. That was how we met, so she can do it, she just doesn’t want to these.”

He explained: “Well we’ve got an allowed-to list. I think mine was for a while Penelope Cruz and Jennifer Aniston.

“Steph’s was Matthew Perry and Jenson Button.”

The duo celebrated their silver wedding anniversary in 2018, and shared a romantic post on social media.

Phillip captioned it: “2 birthdays and a Silver Wedding Anniversary in one week! That’s a lot of cards. Happy 25th Mrs S,” followed by a kissing-face emoji.”

“Both of them have great taste in music and play stuff that I maybe haven’t heard before.

“I was driving Ruby back to uni [university] and she said, ‘You’ve got to listen to this’. Ruby and her mates discovered it just before it broke – Megan Trainor’s ‘All About That Bass’.

““As we listened to it… I can remember I said, oh my God, this is incredible. And I thank Ruby for introducing me to that, way before anybody else!”
