Harry Potter's Tom Felton ends Emma Watson romance rumours by joining dating app

Die-hard Harry Potter fans will be gutted to hear rumours of Tom Felton and Emma Watson sparking up a romance appear to be false.

The 32-year-old, who played Draco Malfoy in all eight films, has reportedly signed up for the popular celebrity dating app Raya.

According to The Sun, Tom has turned to online dating in a bid to find his soulmate.

The publication reported that a “source close to the actor” said that the childhood star is “struggling” to “find someone to connect with”.

They said: “Tom’s a great-looking guy with a good personality. But he’s struggled to find someone to connect with.”

The source added that Tom is reportedly finding it hard to find a girl who likes him for him and not for his “money or what he’s starred in”.

They continued: “Being an actor can be a hard life with travelling and being away for extended periods of time, so he’s looking for someone who gets that lifestyle.

“He also needs someone who understands what it’s like to be in the spotlight.”

The reports came after their fellow co-star Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, claimed last year that Tom and Emma had a “romance”.

They worked together for 10 years from their very early teens, with Emma being just 10 when she starred in the first film.

Rupert told Entertainment Tonight that he could see the two of them together.

He said: “There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark.

“But we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance.”

But, Emma once confessed to Jonathan Ross that from the ages of 10 to 12 she had a crush on Tom.

She said: “Between the ages of 10 and 12, I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton”, she giggled.

“We love a bad guy and he was a few years older and he had a skateboard. And that just did it, really.

“He used to do tricks on it. He was so cool.”
