Kelly Brook heard a noise upstairs when she arrived home at her North London property on Tuesday after a day at work.
The model ventured upstairs when she saw a man running from the back of the mansion.
But, the thief reportedly fled with electrical goods and jewellery.
It’s believed that Kelly might have been targeted by a gang which has also raided the homes of fellow rich and famous people within the local area.
Residents in the area are believed to have said that suspicious people have been lingering around identifying homes to burgle.
TV personality Kelly, 40, is said to be “traumatised and shaken” after she disturbed the burglar in her home.

After discovering the thief had gotten away with expensive jewellery and electrical goods, she instantly called London’s Met Police.
A neighbour at the time said: “It’s very shocking. We think organised crime gangs have been operating in the area, stalking the houses and waiting to strike.”
They added: “A lot of them around here have been armed and violent.

“There’s been a lot of suspicious activity. We’re targeted because it’s such a nice area. It’s one of the most exclusive parts of London. Kelly is a great neighbour. I feel so sorry for her. It’s awful.”
A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Officers were called at around 7.35pm on Tuesday, to a report of a burglary at an address.
“There was no report of injury. Officers attended the location and have begun an investigation.”
