Emmerdale fans spotted an embarrassing blunder in tonight’s episode as Vanessa remained held hostage by evil Pierce Harris.
Graham Foster’s murderer Pierce was back in the village and when he saw Vanessa and her son, he grabbed the boy and ran off.
When Vanessa chased him, she ended up being kidnapped by the twister character.
Fans noticed a major toilet gaffe in tonight’s episode, as they were baffled Vanessa didn’t need the loo after so long.
One said: “Presumably, Pierce is going to let Vanessa visit the lavatory?”
While another wrote: “Vanessa must have a strong bladder.”

“How comes all these kidnapped/hostage people in soaps never need the toilet?,” said a third.
And a fourth wrote: “When people are held prisoner in programs does anyone else just worry about the toilet situation for them?”
Yesterday’s episode saw Vanessa taken by Pierce and tied to the stairs with a gag around her mouth.

Actress Michelle Hardwick has spoken about acting in these brutal scenes as Vanessa is kidnapped.
She said: “Vanessa and Pierce have got history. As soon as he came into the village, Vanessa took an instant dislike to him. She hated the way he was with Rhona and she could see his controlling ways.
Nobody else could see it in the village, so Vanessa was the one who tried to warn people.”

She teased: “So, has Pierce come back for revenge of some sort and is Vanessa going to be in the firing line for this?”
The end of the scary episode saw Pierce race up the stairs when he heard Vanessa’s son Johnny call out for his mum.
As Vanessa was still tied up, she had no way to protect her poor child, as Pierce went into his room and turned off the baby moniter.
Will Vanessa or even little Johnny be Pierce next victim?
