EastEnders has given a first look at who dies in Walford next week as part of the BBC One soap’s 35th anniversary.
A special week of episodes to mark the BBC One soap’s big birthday begins on Monday and will bring the residents of Albert Square together on the Thames for a boat party they will never forget.
Soap bosses have already confirmed that a major character will meet a grisly end before the anniversary week concludes – with a brand new teaser trailer offering the first look at the victim.
The clip shared on the EastEnders official Twitter page ends with a brief scene of police zipping up a body bag, after showing viewers various potential victims who could be killed off next week.

Mick Carter (Danny Dyer), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Ian (Adam Woodyatt) can be seen all trapped on the most as it starts to fill with water, with Phil (Steve McFadden) also is seen going the life out of Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters).
An angry Phil says to Keanu: “The least you could do is look me in the eye after stabbing me in the back.”
Their showdown is followed quickly by a scene of two unknown people falling into the river.
Sharon Mitchell (Letitia Dean) has her own drama going on when she’s forced to depend on rival Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) to help when she goes into labour.

Speaking about the 35th Anniversary of EastEnders, Jon Sen, Executive Producer EastEnders said: “For the 35th anniversary we wanted to entertain the EastEnders audience on the iconic river which has heralded the start of the show for 35 years.
“This unmissable week of episodes is destined to be exciting, gripping and heart-breaking – it will be a week that will go down in EastEnders history.”
The question is who is in the body bag?

It has already been confirmed that Bex Fowler actress Jasmine Armfield is leaving the soap so will the troubled teen go over?
Or will Linda Carter’s alcoholism leave her and Mick in a vulnerable position?
Fans will have to tune in next week to find out.
