The Masked Singer kept ITV viewers guessing who was behind the mask for seven weeks and all the secrets were finally revealed over the weekend.
Queen Bee was voted as the winner of the wacky ITV guessing game show on Saturday night with Girls Aloud babe Nicola Roberts exposed as the voice behind the mask.
Nicola, 34, beat off tough competition from Hedgehog, who was unmasked as comedian Jason Manford, and Octopus, who was revealed as Welsh opera star Katherine Jenkins.
Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on the This Morning sofa today, Nicola said: “The Masked Singer was such a positive experience.
“I just love to sing. I sung all my favourite songs and the mask brought some confidence.”
Despite enjoying her time on the show, Nicola said that she threw a strop when she first took to the stage in her Queen Bee costume.
Songwriter Nicola said: “It was filmed in September so it was still relatively warm outside. When you’re nervous your body temperature goes up anyway.
“When I did the Sia song on the first week I did have a wobbler. I couldn’t breathe or get the notes out so I walked out.
“I couldn’t get any air to sing.”
Nicola also admitted that she found it hard to cope with the secrecy of the show at times.
“I was in the dressing room and I asked to walk around the car park and they were going to say no, so I was like ‘I am going to walk around the car park, I am going to crack’.”

As well as chatting about her time as Queen Bee, Nicola confessed that she’d be up for a Girls Aloud reunion.
“We’ll be celebrating our 20th anniversary in 2022 and I’d love to do a big show with all the girls for the fans.
“Performing is what we loved doing most.”

Nicola alongside Cheryl, Nadine Coyle, Kimberly Walsh and Sarah Harding were crowned the winners of Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 after beating off competition from boyband One True Voice.
The girls reunited to celebrate their 10 year anniversary with a UK tour with a setlist full of classics including Love Machine, Sound Of The Underground and No Good Advice.
Nicola also said she’d love to do some more songwriting herself too after her upcoming theatre stint.
The star is set to make her West End debut in production City of Angels at London’s Garrick Theatre on March 5th.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV
