Love Island legend Caroline Flacktragically died after taking her own life on Saturday, with her heartbroken family releasing a statement confirming the sad news.
Now, a local business owner whose shop is situated close to Caroline’s Stoke Newington flat, has complimented the NHS for their handling of the “chaos”.
The florist, who asked not to be named, said: “Yesterday was chaos. The ambulance came just after 2.30pm.
“I knew they were here for her because I asked paramedics.”
The woman continued to the Mirror: “The NHS did everything they could with the ambulance.”
On Saturday, a Met Police spokeswoman confirmed: “Officers were made aware of concerns for welfare at a residential address in Stoke Newington at 2.31pm on Saturday.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found an unresponsive woman inside the address. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin are aware.
“The death is being treated as non-suspicious.”
Following the tragic news of Caroline broke, her family said: “We can confirm that our Caroline passed away today on the 15th February.
“We would ask that the press respect the privacy of the family at this difficult time.”

ITV, the home of Love Island, released a statement following the host’s death too.
An ITV spokeswoman said: “Many people at ITV knew Caroline well and held her in great affection.
“All of us are absolutely devastated at this tragic news.
“After careful consultation between Caroline’s representatives and the Love Island production team and given how close we still are to the news of Caroline’s tragic death we have decided not to broadcast tonight’s Love Island out of respect for Caroline’s family.
“Love Island will return tomorrow night which will include a tribute to Caroline who will be forever in our hearts.”

Both Saturday’s Unseen Bits and Sunday night’s episode of Love Island were cancelled.
The ITV2 show will return to screens tonight, with a tribute to Caroline Flack included.
Laura Whitmore, who is hosting the show following Caroline stepping down after she was charged with assault last year, broke down in tears as she paid tribute to her friend.
She urged people to “be kind” following her friend’s death.
