Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne has been forced to axe his upcoming US tour after a fall left him in a lot of pain.
The iconic rocker, who is married to former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne, is currently fighting degenerative disease Parkinson’s.
Initial plans were for Ozzy, 71, to be back on stage in May.
However, he will now instead travel to Switzerland for medical treatment.
The Prince of Darkness last performance was on New Year’s Eve 2018.
A source said: “He’s still in a lot of pain, and as much as he’s desperate to get back on tour he doesn’t want to rush into it before he can give it his all.

“At the minute, it just isn’t possible.”
The planned tour was due to span over two months and wrap up in Las Vegas at the end of July.
The insider added to The Sun: “It’s a huge disappointment for him and everyone involved but he knows it’s the right decision and hopes it will mean he makes it back to full strength before his UK gigs this autumn.”
If Ozzy’s recovery goes well, he will still take to the stage in Newcastle in October.
Speaking in January this year, Ozzy spoke frankly about his private battle with Parkinson’s.
“It’s been terribly challenging for us all,” he explained.

“I did my last show [on] New Year’s Eve (2018). Then I had a bad fall.
“I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves.”
He added: “I’m no good with secrets.

“I cannot walk around with it any more ’cause it’s like I’m running out of excuses, you know?”
Talking about his fans and why he wants to continue to perform, Ozzy said: “They’re my air, you know. I feel better.
“I’ve owned up to the fact that I have… a case of Parkinson’s.
“And I just hope they hang on and they’re there for me because I need them.”
