Coronation Street’s Sue Cleaver has wowed by showing off her weight loss on the red carpet.
The Corrie star, known for playing Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV soap, flaunted her slimmed-down frame as she walked the red carpet at Manchester’s The Lowry for a press night.
Sue, 56, looked incredible as she wore a black lacy camisole top teamed with a purple silky blouse as she posed for the press event for Ghost Stories.
It was reported last year that Sue, who has played Weatherfield favourite Eileen for 20 years, dropped three stone after overhauling her diet.
It’s thought the actress dropped from a size 16 to a size 12 to 14 after cutting out gluten and following a low-sugar Mediterranean diet.
A source told Woman magazine: “Sue was always a self-confessed foodie, who admitted that over-indulgence was her Achilles Heel. Now everything’s changed.”

Sue’s Corrie character has known to have some explosive drama on the street, with Eileen’s ex Pat Phelan being outed as a serial killer in 2018.
Eileen’s romance with builder Jan Lozinski also ended in disaster last year.
The character was devastated when she thought her boyfriend was part of a human trafficking ring.

However, it turned out that Jan, played by Piotr Baumann, was a police informant working undercover to successfully expose the operation.
Things ended up in disaster though when Jan was dramatically shot by trafficker Rachel Healy.
He then discharged himself from hospital and quietly slipped away after Sean Tully told him to leave Eileen alone.

Eileen first appeared on the soap in May 3 2000 after former Street Cars boss Vikram Desai gave her a ride in his taxi and gave her a job after he and was impressed by her knowledge of the area.
Also at the red carpet event, which is just a short walk away from the Corrie set at Trafford Wharf, were Sue’s co-stars Jack P Shepherd, Ben Price, Kate Ford, Chris Gascoyne, Jimmi Harkishin, Alison King, Colson Smith, Maureen Lipman, Daniel Brocklebank, Rob Mallard, Charlie De Melo, Trevor Michael Georges and Alexandra Mardell.
