Caroline Flack's manager shares touching tribute video of Love Island host

Caroline Flack’s manager Nathan Smith has shared a fun video of the late Love Island host, following her tragic death at the age of 40.

The much-loved star took her own life, with an inquest yesterday confirming that she died by suicide on Saturday.

Now Nathan, who looked after Caroline’s professional engagements, has shared a tribute to the ITV regular on his Instagram story.

In the video, Caroline can be seen sitting at a vanity mirror, complete with lightbulbs around the edge, seemingly getting made up for a showbiz bash.

Sitting in the chair, the former Xtra Factor host smiled and laughed as she lip-synced to the song Escape by Rupert Holmes.

Both Caroline and Nathan can be heard giggling as she performs in front of the mirror.

Caroline then cracks open a can of Coca-Cola before returning to the lip-syncing.

Speaking to Mirror Online, Nathan said that Caroline’s death has left a “huge hole” in his heart.

The talent manager explained that they spoke almost every day and the song in the video, with the famous Pina Colada lyrics, would often make an appearance.

He said: “She loved that song. It was the song played as she arrived at her 40th birthday last year too.

“We’d always play it in the dressing room and she loved it so much that it was the theme tune for her 40th. She absolutely loved it.”

Plenty of Caroline’s famous pals and fans alike have been sharing tributes of their own.

Her Love Island co-star Iain Stirling read out a touching tribute at the start of Monday night’s episode, too.

And today, last year’s Love Island star Amy Hart fought back tears as she spoke of Caroline.

On Good Morning Britain, she said: “When I came back from Casa Amor she was squeezing my hand telling me to shut up because I was baring my soul when I really shouldn’t have been.”

She went on: “At Aftersun she sat me down at the afterparty and talked me through everything – how to move forward and what the industry’s like.”
