Christmas has come early for PAW Patrol fans after movie bosses confirmed the hit cartoon series will be adapted into a full length feature film.
Spin Master Entertainment have teamed up with Nickelodeon Movies to bring the franchise to life for an all new adventure.
The film, which is currently simply titled PAW Patrol: The Movie, is set to be released August 2021.
The news was confirmed on the official PAW Patrol Instagram.
Alongside a post of the PAW Patrol logo a statement read: “From the small screen to the BIG screen, the moment you have been waiting for (and asking for) is finally here.
“PAW Patrol: The Movie | August 2021.”

Gushing over the announcement, one fan replied to the post: “Omg the boys are going to freak out.”
“Will it show the origin of Paw Patrol?” another supporter asked.
Meanwhile, a third continued: “Wow! This is a game changer!”
No more details are known about the film but it is thought that it will see the canine companions embark on an all new adventure.

PAW Patrol sees main character Ryder lead a team of super pups consisting of Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Zuma, Rocky and Skye to save the world one mission at a time.
The show has been translated into 30 different languages and aired in over 160 countries.
Spin Master Entertainment’s Jennifer Dodge has been confirmed produce the film.
