Dean Gaffney had a hilarious comeback when his advances were rejected during his debut on Celebs Go Dating.
The 42-year-old actor, who was reportedly axed from EastEnders in relation to his lothario ways, didn’t strike it lucky in his first episode.
In the show, Dean asks a potential suitor, Martine, whether she would go on a date with him and she wasn’t having any of it.
“I think on this occasion I’ll probably say no,” she replied.
Red-faced Dean appeared to have a comeback prepared for the rejection, joking that she “must be a Corrie fan”.
Fans of the dating show appeared to commend Dean after being awkwardly let down.

“I think Dean Gaffney reacted well to being pied,” wrote on follower.
Another, found the exchange hilarious, admitting: “Already suspect Dean Gaffney is going to be the comedy gift that keeps giving on this.”
“You must be a #Corrie fan! That absolutely floored me, well done Dean,” joked another.

Dean, who played Robbie Jackson on EastEnders for 26 years, has enlisted the help of the Celebs Go Dating specialists after finding himself unlucky in love as of late.
Following a series of public kiss and tells, the veteran actor was quietly dropped from the show as bosses encouraged him to fix his ways.
He recently admitted the he felt bosses had been ‘harsh’ on him but respected their decision to let him go.
He was, however, to face further personal difficulty after he was dumped by his 25-year-old model girlfriend Rebekah Rose-Ward.

The couple, who have a 16-year age gap, had been together for three years.
Although Dean faced an array of pies in the first episode, he remains trusting that the Celeb Go Dating specialists can find the ideal partner for him.
He joins the ranks alongside other love-lorn celebrities Amy Hart, Olivia Bentley, James Lock, Amy Childs, Malique Thompson-Dwyer, Joshua Ritchie and Alison Hammond.
