Comic Joe Pasquale has revealed he once came into contact with a UFO on a late night drive.
The TV funnyman said his extra-terrestrial experience, in which he spotted the craft land on a field along the M4 motorway, left him believing there are little green men living closer to Earth than people think.
The 58-year-old 2004 I’m A Celeb winner said: “I once saw an alien space ship, I was driving down the M4 and it landed in a field.
“It was before the days of mobile phones with cameras, so the UFO society said you had to draw it and take it to a police station.
“I got home, painted it and ran to my local police station at 4am.
“The policeman said to me: ‘Are you kidding? I’ve just finished my shift, go away!’”
Joe, who plays Frank Spencer in a remake of 1970s BBC sitcom Some Mothers Do ‘Ave Em sitcom, is said to often be a regular visitor to various Sci-fi and extra-terrestrial conventions across the UK.
He is the latest star to share his belief in aliens.
Snooker ace Steve Davis recently told how he believes there are snooker-loving aliens living close to earth.

Joe also revealed he goes to the cinema up to three times in one day and has taken up boxing at a “proper spit and sawdust” gym in Sidcup, Kent.
The comic, who shocked Good Morning Britain viewers when he revealed his new ripped body last week, said he has also “recently discovered classical music” and “listens to Classical FM all the time”.
He said: “My guilty pleasure is the cinema, I can go three times in one day.
“I’ll see a film, get something to eat, go and see another one, go to Nando’s, and then go back in again.”
He added: “I went to watch Little Women the other day, I loved it but I bawled my eyes out the whole way through.
“I cry at everything, I went to see Toy Story 4 and cried at that.”
