Olly Murs shares unseen Caroline Flack clip from X Factor in emotional tribute

Olly Murs made a special tribute to his late friend Caroline Flack today, sharing a video from their X Factor days.

Caroline, 40, was found dead in her East London apartment on February 15, having taken her own life.

Olly and Caroline ha been firm friends since they first met back in 2011, crossing paths on the set of the spin-off series The Xtra Factor.

Reminiscing about their shared history, the 35-year-old posted a throwback video from behind-the-scenes on the ITV talent show.

With the camera turned to selfie, the two pals pulled funny faces with their tongues out, as the lens worked in slow-motion.

In the caption, he said: “God we did some stupid s**t Caz.

“Found this on my computer! Haha I remember we was bored backstage at XF and buzzing that we had slow mo on our iphones and thought this was funny as f**k.”

Following their stint presenting The Xtra Factor, music mogul Simon Cowell invited the duo to take over from Dermot O’Leary on The X Factor in 2015.

Presenting the series for one year, the duo’s witty banter and flirtatious hosting style went down a treat with viewers.

The day after Caroline’s tragic death was announced, Olly took to social media to express his heartache over the sad turn of events.

Admitting his heart was “forever broken,” he said: “I haven’t stopped crying since the news.”

The Voice coach also reflected on their friendship over more recent years, admitting to seeing Caroline less frequently after their X Factor gig came to an end.

He added: “We didn’t see each other as much as we should have but we always spoke on the phone or messaged plus whenever I did see ya out and about, like a sister we’d just kiss and make up and was back being us every single time.”
