Rebel Wilson flaunts weight loss in skintight leggings after gruelling workout

Rebel Wilson has continued her weight loss crusade as she took part in an arduous workout in LA, California, earlier this week.

Donning figure-hugging activewear, the Pitch Perfect star worked up a sweat as she performed numerous fat-burning exercises at the Dogpound Gym.

Her personal trainer, Jono Castano Acero, posted a clip of the 39-year-old throwing a medicine ball at the wall as he cheered her on in the short clip.

“The ball didn’t stand a chance!! Work it gurl,” Jono captioned the video.

During the clip, the actress was spotted wearing a pair of yellow Nike trainers, black leggings, a blue sweatshirt, and finished the look with a black cap.

Rebel first kick-started her weight loss journey in 2019 when she started filming big-budget movie, Cats.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight last December, the Australian native revealed she managed to shed eight pounds in four days while filming because of the high temperature on set, coupled with the rigorous dance scenes.

And at the start of the year, Rebel declared that 2020 is “The Year of Health” for her, after starting a health kick.

Jono, who has been training Rebel over the last couple of months, spoke about her daily workout routine.

Speaking to E!, Jono explained he created a personalised programme for the comedy actress and said she hits the gym six-days-a-week.

“During a typical week, Rebel works on high-intensity interval training, mobility, weights, resistance, technique and tempo, getting only one day a week for resting,”

“Rebel and I are just focusing on enjoying training and getting the body moving.”

He added that everybody should invest in a personal trainer, so they can be ‘”checking up on you all the time.”
