Sizzling model recreates iconic bikini snap of original James Bond film girl

Model and TV star Michelle Hunziker has sent fans into a frenzy with a series of steamy snaps recreating one of the most iconic moments of cinema.

The sultry star posted a series of snaps of her posing in the Maldives, emerging form the sea in an eye-popping white bikini – just like Ursula Andress in James Bond film Dr No.

The gorgeous 43-year-old star is a Swiss-Dutch naturalised Italian who boasts 4.3 million followers on Instagram.

She donned a white bikini and belt, complete with a large seashell in hand, to replicate Andress’ iconic opening scene in the 1962 film Dr No, in which she plays Honey Ryder.

Hunziker, who is sunning herself in the Maldives, accompanied the snaps with the message: “Here is the result of our ‘homemade’ photoshoot.”

One said: “After three kids, you still have the body of a teenager!”

Another added: “You are the envy of so many 20-year-olds!”

As well as frolicking on the Maldives’ golden beaches as a Bond girl, Hunziker also found time to comment on the outbreak of COVID-19 after some followers accused her of fleeing Italy in the face of rising cases.

She wrote: “I am having a bit of trouble sleeping because the bad news has reached us here too, on the other side of the world.

“Let’s stay strong guys!

“It looks a bit like a horror movie, but instead it’s all reality.

“The only thing we can do is follow the 10 rules suggested by the ministry of health and stay informed. This is important.”

Honey Ryder – Honeychile Rider in Ian Fleming’s 1958 novel Dr No – is widely regarded as the first Bond girl.
