Louise Redknapp remembers 'special lady' Caroline Flack in unseen throwback snap

Louise Redknapp has opened up about remembering her friend Caroline Flack who took her own life on February 15th 2020.

Former Eternal singer Louise, 45, claimed the former Love Island host was a “special lady” in an unseen snap which she shared to her 700,000 Instagram followers.

Jamie Redknapp’s ex-wife cosied up to Caroline on a night out alongside pals Claire Denby and comedian Keith Lemon.

Louise, who recently released her first studio album in 20 years, which she is set to tour with, in just two weeks.

Caroline took her own life at the age of just 40.

The star was due to stand trial next month for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton by beating, but pleaded not guilty when she appeared before magistrates.

Hurt songstress Louise captioned her snap: “Remembering one of my most favourite nights with this special lady and some of my favourite people. So grateful for my friendships @littleblondebear @keithlemon.

“Always thinking of you #BeKind”.

Her post has since racked up over 10,000 likes and has been flooded by comments remembering Caroline.

Louise’s pal commented: “This was such a magical night and it was thanks to you. You are a special soul my darling. Still doesn’t feel real. Love you very much xx”

While a fan added: “Can’t stop watching things with her in. Feel like I’ve lost a close friend it’s so strange. Keep remembering those great times.”

A second gushed: “I too have been so affected by this considering I didn’t know Caroline. Just wish wish wish she could’ve fought just a little bit longer.

“My heart bleeds when I think of how lonely and sad she must’ve been. May she rest in eternal peace and may we all learn from this. #Bekind”.

Since Caroline’s death, people have been using the social media hashtag “#BeKind” referencing one of her social media posts which read: “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”

Caroline was found dead in her North London home by a close friend who had been staying with the star.

Since her death, a string of celeb pals including friend and new Love Island host Laura Whitmore , Harry Styles and Dawn O’Porter have paid tribute to Caroline.
