The second series of ITV drama Liar kicked off last night, and viewers already have a fan theory over Andrew Earlhan’s murder.
Many fans are convinced that despite being announced dead, that Andrew (Ioan Gruffud) is still very much alive.
Last night’s show saw Laura Nielson (Joanne Froggatt) arrested for his murder.
However, some fans think the rapist has framed her and is very much still alive.
Laura was seen last night claiming some one had set her up after Andrew’s car key was found in her flat.
And viewers think it might be Andrew himself who has done it.
They think the plastic surgeon whose boat he took cover in altered the dead body “to look like him” in a bid to frame Laura.
One tweeted: “Spoiler theory: Andrew’s not dead. He got his pal the plastic surgeon (who’s boat he was hiding on) to make the body look like him. Then planted evidence in Laura’s house.”
While another added: “I’m guessing that Andrew has framed Laura for his murder?”
A third chimed in: “Andrew doesn’t seem quite as dead as he did at the end of season 1! #Liar.”
While a fourth added: “Unless this is massive misdirection, then I reckon it’s going to turn out that Andrew decided to kill himself but enlisted the help of someone, possibly his son, to make it look like Laura murdered him. #Liar #LiarITV.”

Even Laura was seen ranting on last night’s show that it felt like Andrew was “messing with her life” and “playing games” with her.
She said: “I wanted Andrew to suffer. When I found out he was dead, Iwas relieved that he couldn’t hurt anyone else the way that he hurt me and so many other people.
“Prison isn’t going to change a monster like that. Somehow he’s still doing it, messing with my lie.”
She went on: “He’s dead and he’s still playing games with me. I’m not taking the fall for it. He’s not going to ruin my life all over again.”
But will they be right?
Liar returns to ITV next Monday at 9pm
